Shivambika Sinha



Shivambika specialises in Civil & Commercial litigation, Arbitrations, Insolvency, Company Law, Intellectual Property and Public Laws. She has over 11 years of experience at the Bar and appears regularly before various Courts and Tribunals, including High Court of Delhi, NCLT and NCLAT.

Shivambika’s litigation experience includes successful efforts to recover assets in India on behalf of an Irish Government owned lender; representing prominent Japanese IT Products and Services Company in relation to settlement regarding a multi-million-dollar supply contract; defending leading telecom device manufacturers in patent infringement actions; insolvency resolution and resolution of shareholding disputes for a German company engaged in manufacture and distribution of hygiene, cleaning and care products.

Shivambika also has extensive experience in corporate and regulatory advisory work and regularly advises clients on commercial transactions in India including structuring, setting up businesses, joint ventures, forex regulations etc. She has advised clients across various sectors including aviation, EPC & PMC, Defence, retail, manufacturing & distribution, petroleum, steel, telecommunications, logistics and transportation, hospitality, and advertising

Shivambika was a panel counsel for the New Delhi Legal Aid Society (Patiala House) for criminal matters. She has worked closely with survivors of violence in cases for rehabilitation and compensation.

Shivambika completed her B.A. (Hons) in English Literature from Lady Shri Ram College and LL.B. from Campus Law Centre, University of Delhi. She enrolled with the Bar Council of Delhi in 2010. She has PG Diploma in Arbitration, and Banking and Securities Law from ILI, Delhi. She has previously worked as Senior Associate with Zeus Law Associates and Amarchand Mangaldas Suresh A. Shroff & Co. She was one of the founding partners of Capital Law Chambers LLP. She is a member of the Delhi High Court Bar Association.
